  Match Report:

The goals finally flowed once again at St James’ Park as we booked ourselves a trip to the Emirates Stadium in the 4th Round of the FA Cup.

Despite playing with 10 men for over 60 minutes (after Emre was given a straight red card) goals from Michael Owen, Cacapa, James Milner and Damien Duff were enough to easily beat Stoke City.

Kevin Keegan was watching in the Milburn Stand alongside a smiling Mike Ashley and he will be pleased to have seen the response from his new players. Shay Given has already come out and said it’s a ‘dream come true’ to work under Kevin Keegan and hopefully Keegan can inspire some of the other players to raise their game this season.
